In the third quarter of 2022, the top five insurance applications on the Android platform in South America demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual from Porto Seguro saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting with around 22K at the end of June and peaking at approximately 32K in mid-September. Active users showed a consistent upward trend, rising from about 349K to 372K by the end of September.

Bradesco Seguros experienced steady growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 15K in late June and reaching up to 25K by the end of August. Active users also increased, moving from 109K to a peak of 131K in late August, before stabilizing around 127K by the end of the quarter.

Bradesco Saúde maintained a consistent download rate, starting with around 16K weekly downloads and peaking at 20K in early August. Active users showed a gradual increase, from approximately 93K to 101K by the beginning of August, with slight fluctuations towards the end of the quarter.

Odontoprev had a relatively stable download trend, with weekly downloads hovering around 10K, reaching up to 12K in early July. Active users remained steady throughout the quarter, averaging around 32K, with minor variations.

Unimed Nacional showed a varied download pattern, starting at 13K and experiencing highs and lows, ending with approximately 8K weekly downloads by the end of September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 72K and peaking at 77K in late August, before settling at around 67K at the end of the quarter.
