In Q3 2022, the top finance apps on the Android platform in Central America exhibited diverse trends in terms of downloads and active users. Below is a detailed overview of the performance of these leading finance apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

BBVA México saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 146K in late June and peaking at 204K in the first week of September. This was accompanied by a gradual rise in weekly active users, reaching just over 8.1M by the end of the quarter.

Banco Azteca experienced steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 126K and 151K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw an overall increase, from approximately 3.9M in late June to nearly 4.2M at the end of August, before settling at around 3.8M by the end of September.

Spin by OXXO-Tu Cuenta Digital showed consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting at 131K in late June and reaching 152K by the last week of September. Active users also increased steadily, growing from 383K to 458K over the same period.
