During the third quarter of 2022, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Brazil demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here’s an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Nubank: conta, cartão e mais experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 532K in early July and declining to around 382K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust active user base, starting at 30.7M and reaching a high of 33.2M in mid-September before settling at 30.9M by the end of the quarter.

CAIXA Tem saw a decline in weekly downloads from 481K at the beginning of July to 299K by the end of September. Its active user count showed a slight decrease over the quarter, starting at 7.1M and ending at 6.7M.

Serasa: Consulta CPF e Score had a stable download trend, with numbers around 300K in early July, tapering to approximately 259K by late September. The app's weekly revenue showed a steady increase, peaking at nearly $49K in mid-September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 3.08M and peaking at 3.67M in mid-August before ending the quarter at 3.28M.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix showed a consistent download pattern, with figures ranging from 328K in late June to 261K by the end of September. The active user metric remained relatively stable, starting at 13M and ending at 12.5M.

FGTS had a notable spike in weekly downloads in late August with 394K, but this number decreased to 214K by the end of September. Active users saw a rise from 3.94M at the start of July to a peak of 4.77M by late July, before declining to 3.56M by the end of the quarter.
