In the third quarter of 2022, the leading education applications on the Android platform in Portugal showed diverse performance trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here is a closer look at the top five apps:

Duolingo: Language Lessons from Duolingo experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $3.7K in the final week of September. Weekly downloads for the app consistently rose, reaching around 7.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users also showed a steady climb, starting from 57K in late June to about 68K by the end of September.

Edu Rede Escolar by INSTITUTO DE GESTÃO FINANCEIRA DA EDUCAÇÃO, I.P. saw its weekly downloads peak at 8.8K in the first week of August. However, the numbers declined significantly, dropping to 244 downloads by the last week of September.

Google Classroom from Google LLC had a fluctuating download trend, with a significant surge in mid-September, reaching around 9K downloads in the week of September 19. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 35K at the start of the quarter to over 82K by the end of September.
