During the second quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps in Spain exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their metrics, courtesy of data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a varied pattern in weekly downloads, starting with a high of about 108K and seeing peaks such as 157K in mid-April. However, the trend showed a decline towards the end of the quarter, finishing at around 87K. Its active user base started strong at 2M and peaked at approximately 2.7M, although it tapered off to 2.5M by the end of June.

Wallapop - Vende y compra displayed a stable revenue stream, with weekly earnings fluctuating between $32K and $42K. The highest revenue was recorded in mid-April at $42K. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 62K in the week of April 18, before declining to about 45K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 1.2M to 1.25M throughout the quarter.

Amazon maintained a consistent download rate, starting the quarter with around 42K and seeing a peak of 60K in late May. The app's active user base was robust, starting at 3.4M and peaking at 3.5M towards the end of June, showing a stable user engagement throughout the quarter.

Milanuncios - Comprar y vender experienced steady revenue, with weekly earnings ranging from $13K to $18K, peaking at $18K in the last week of March. Downloads showed a general decline from 42K at the start of the quarter to around 39K by the end. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 411K in late June after a dip to 354K in early April.

Zalando – Online fashion demonstrated a steady performance in downloads, starting at 41K and experiencing slight fluctuations, ending the quarter at around 37K. Active users saw a steady increase from 508K at the beginning of the quarter to a peak of 524K by the end of June.
