Top 5 News Apps in Ukraine Q2 2022 Performance Review

In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 news applications in Ukraine demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, active users, and revenue metrics. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Повітряна тривога, developed by Ajax Systems Inc, saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 267K in the last week of March and ending at around 96K by the last week of June. The app’s weekly active users also showed a declining trend, from around 2.6M at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 1.1M by the end.

X from X Corp. maintained relatively stable weekly active users, hovering around 1.3M throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at 40.9K in late April but generally ranged between 14K and 34K. Meanwhile, weekly revenue saw minor fluctuations, staying within the $20 to $49 range.

єТривога, published by Wild Pluto, experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 32K in late March to about 7.3K by the end of June. Active users showed a slight drop from 169K at the start of the quarter to around 126K in the last week of June.

Liveuamap by Altwork LLC had a steady weekly revenue, ranging between $198 and $235. Weekly downloads decreased from 15K at the end of March to about 3.5K by late June. However, the app saw a consistent rise in active users, reaching a peak of 46K in the last week of June.

RSFY: track aggressor's losses, released by Alty Inc. in May, experienced a steep drop in weekly downloads from 16.5K in its launch week to just 83 by the end of June.
