Top 5 Navigation Apps in Mexico Q2 2022

The second quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top navigation apps in Mexico. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for Google Maps, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, Moovit: All Transit Options, SpTH, and Find my Phone - Family Locator.

Google Maps experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting with 77.6K at the end of March and peaking at 91.1K in mid-April. Downloads then declined, stabilizing around 63.5K by the end of June. The app maintained a robust active user base, hovering around 4.4M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging between 43K and 50K. Active users saw a peak of approximately 1.47M in mid-June, but the quarter ended with a decline to about 1.24M.

Moovit: All Transit Options had steady weekly downloads, averaging around 24K. The app saw a marginal increase in revenue, reaching $35 by the end of June. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter with approximately 526K.

SpTH saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from 584 at the end of March and reaching 2K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 710 to about 2.3K over the same period.

Find my Phone - Family Locator displayed a significant increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $4.7K in late May. Weekly downloads also saw a spike, hitting 14.8K in early May before stabilizing around 5.7K by the end of June. Active users reached a high of 22K in early May but declined to around 14.6K by the quarter's end.
