During the second quarter of 2022, the top navigation apps in Latvia showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and revenue of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 1.6K in late March and peaking at approximately 2.4K in the week of May 23. The app saw a slight decline towards the end of June, ending the quarter with around 1.6K downloads.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Beginning at just over 2K downloads in late March, the app reached a high of approximately 2.8K by the last week of June. This steady rise highlights its growing popularity among users in Latvia.

Neste had a significant spike in downloads in the week of April 25, reaching nearly 2.9K. However, the following weeks showed a downward trend, with downloads dropping to around 490 by the end of June.

Moovit: All Transit Options maintained a stable download rate, starting at 296 in late March and gradually increasing to 413 by the end of June. The app also saw a modest increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $7 in the last week of June.

Geocaching® had a notable surge in downloads in mid-April, reaching about 900. However, the rest of the quarter saw much lower download numbers, stabilizing around 189 by the end of June. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $526 in mid-April and showed a slight decline towards June, ending at $351.
