In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation applications in Lebanon showcased varied performance trends across weekly downloads, active users, and in some cases, revenue. Here’s an overview of how each app fared during this period, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with its weekly downloads ranging from 1.5K to 3.1K, peaking in the week of May 2. Active users showed a steady trend, generally hovering around 240K, reaching a high of approximately 247K in the final week of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a more modest performance in terms of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 215 and 403. Active users saw a slight increase from around 21K to just over 23K during the quarter, with a peak in the week of June 6.

Geocaching® experienced a significant spike in downloads during mid-April, reaching 1.1K, followed by a decline to double digits in subsequent weeks. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 1.4K in mid-April before stabilizing around the 500 mark. Revenue for Geocaching® showed a gradual increase, peaking at $7 in mid-June.
