During the second quarter of 2022, the top navigation applications in Europe showed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the trends for these apps on a unified platform.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 653K and 1M. Active users steadily increased from approximately 70.4M at the end of March to 78.1M by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 272K to 381K. Active users increased from 15M at the start of the quarter to around 17.7M by the end.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced rising weekly downloads, reaching up to 311K in early June. Revenue also showed an upward trend, starting from $219 in mid-April and peaking at around $1.9K in the last week of June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 2.4M and 2.7M.

Yandex Maps & Navigator saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 267K in the final week of June. Revenue trends showed some variability, with weekly income ranging from $2.9K to $7.5K. Active users rose from about 9.9M at the end of March to 11.4M by the end of June.

Lastly, 2GIS: Offline Map & Navigation had weekly downloads increasing from 134K to 178K during the quarter. Active users also saw growth, starting at 5.7M and rising to 6.3M by the end of June.
