In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation apps in Central America showcased notable trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into the performance of these essential tools.

Google Maps had a steady performance in Q2 2022. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 109K in mid-April before dropping to 66K by mid-May. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 5M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a similar trend. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 111K in mid-April and saw a slight decline to 78K by late May. Active users varied, reaching a high of 2.3M in mid-June but dropping to 2.1M by the end of June.
