Top 5 Insurance Apps in Guatemala: Q2 2022 Performance

During the second quarter of 2022, the top five insurance applications in Guatemala showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app’s performance.

Seguro Escolar experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with 212 downloads, the app saw a notable increase in early May, peaking at 1.2K downloads in the week of May 16. However, it experienced a sharp decline by mid-June, dropping to 84 downloads before slightly recovering to 130 downloads in the final week of June.

Ficohsa maintained a relatively steady download rate throughout Q2 2022. Weekly downloads ranged from 138 to 224, with the highest number recorded in the first week of May. The app consistently achieved over 200 downloads per week for most of the quarter, indicating stable user interest.

RPN saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting with 157 downloads at the end of March, downloads peaked at 195 in the last week of May. The app’s weekly downloads consistently stayed above 100, reflecting a steady growth in user acquisition.

Seguros G&T experienced minor fluctuations in its weekly downloads. The numbers ranged between 87 and 142 downloads, with the highest count in the second week of May. Despite these variations, the app maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter.

Universales had a more volatile download trend. Starting strong with 264 downloads at the end of March, the numbers dropped significantly in early April. However, the app saw a resurgence in the last week of May, hitting 110 downloads, and continued to show variability in the following weeks, ending June with 86 downloads.
