Top 5 Education Apps on Unified Platform in Turkey Q2 2022

The second quarter of 2022 saw varying performance among the top education apps in Turkey. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the leading applications in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.

MEB E-OKUL VBS experienced significant fluctuations in its weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with around 140K downloads, the app saw a dip mid-quarter but surged to approximately 265K downloads by early June. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at over 10M users in the first week of June before dropping to around 2.7M by the end of the quarter.

Duolingo - Language Lessons maintained a relatively stable revenue stream, averaging around $18K per week. Downloads fluctuated between 33K and 55K throughout the quarter, with active users peaking at approximately 675K by the end of June.

ÖSYM Aday İşlemleri Sistemi showed a notable increase in downloads, reaching a high of 169K in the final week of May. The app’s active users peaked at around 759K in the same period, before stabilizing to approximately 250K by the end of June.

Brainly: AI Homework Helper saw a consistent decline in downloads from around 57K at the beginning of the quarter to just under 5K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 685K and dropping to approximately 208K.

Learn 33 Languages with Mondly experienced moderate fluctuations in revenue, averaging around $4K per week. Downloads ranged between 22K and 46K, with active users peaking at approximately 118K in late June.
