The second quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends for the top 5 auto applications in Australia on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Zutobi: Permit Practice Test experienced a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $1.7K in late March and dropping to approximately $795 by the end of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 669 in the week of April 25, before settling at 371 in the last week of June. Active users saw a gradual decrease from 5.2K at the beginning of the quarter to about 4K by the end.

A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) showed a more stable performance in terms of revenue, with a slight increase from $406 in late March to $564 by the end of June. Weekly downloads saw a significant rise, reaching a peak of 189 in the week of June 13. Active users also increased, starting at 522 and growing to 598 by the end of the quarter.

The Learners Test Practice DKT faced a decline in revenue from $284 in late March to $163 by the end of June. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 2.5K and dropping to 1.5K. Active users also decreased, from 2.4K to 1.7K during the same period.
