Top 5 Apparel Apps in Russia: Q2 2022 Performance

In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 apparel apps in Russia displayed diverse trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 101K in mid-April and gradually declining to approximately 39K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also showed a downward trend, starting from 3.2M at the beginning of April and decreasing to 1.7M by the end of June.

Nike: Shoes, Apparel, Stories had a relatively stable download rate, with numbers around 13K in early April, tapering off to about 2.6K by late June. Active users for Nike remained fairly consistent, hovering around 115K in early April and slightly dropping to 95K by the end of the quarter.

For ASOS - Discover Fashion Online, weekly downloads showed a significant spike at the end of June, reaching around 32K, compared to a steady range of 6K to 9K throughout the quarter. Active users for ASOS fluctuated, peaking at approximately 150K in early April and experiencing a dip to about 45K by mid-June before rising again to 103K at the end of June.

ZARA maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 5.3K to 6K. The app's active users, however, saw a decline from 123K at the end of March to about 56K by late June, with some fluctuations in between.

Finally, Trendyol: Fashion & Trends showcased growth in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads increased from approximately 3.2K at the end of March to 6.1K by late May, before settling at about 4.9K by the end of June. Active users consistently grew from around 88K in late March to 116K by the end of June.
