In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 apparel applications in Africa exhibited diverse performance trends across weekly downloads and active users. Below is a detailed breakdown of their performance, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

SHEIN-Shopping Online from Roadget Business PTE. LTD. saw a peak in weekly downloads at approximately 163K during mid-April, followed by a gradual decline to around 95K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users increased steadily from 958K to a peak of about 1.16M in early June, before slightly dropping to 1.06M by the end of the quarter.

Zara, published by Inditex, experienced a rise in weekly downloads from around 12.8K at the end of March to a peak of 26.1K in mid-June. The active users for Zara also showed a positive trend, increasing from 128K to a high of 150K during the same period.

H&M MENA - Shop Fashion Online had a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at 12.7K at the end of March and dropping to a low of 5.8K in mid-May. However, there was a slight recovery to 7.4K by the end of June. The active users for H&M MENA hovered around 78K at the beginning of the quarter, with minor fluctuations, ending at approximately 67K by the end of June.

Max Fashion - ماكس فاشون from Landmark Retail Limited - GCC showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads from 7.3K at the end of March to about 8K by the end of June. The app's active users also saw a steady rise from 28.7K to 29.8K during the same period.

Lyst: Shop Fashion Brands, published by Lyst Ltd, experienced an interesting trend with weekly downloads starting at 9.4K at the end of March, peaking at 17.1K by the end of June. The active users for Lyst initially fluctuated around 41.2K, but saw a significant increase to 52.9K by the end of the quarter.
