Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Chile Q2 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the top five navigation apps on the iOS platform in Chile saw diverse trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps, published by Google, showed a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, starting at around 12.5K and peaking at nearly 19K in mid-April before settling back to approximately 11.5K by the end of June. The app maintained a high number of weekly active users, ranging from about 923K to just over 1M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic from Waze Inc. had weekly downloads that varied between 4.3K and 9K, with a noticeable peak in early April. Active users fluctuated slightly, ranging between 428K and 469K throughout the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options, published by Moovit App Global LTD, saw weekly downloads decrease gradually from about 3.5K to approximately 2.5K. The app’s active users hovered around 34K to 35K, with minor fluctuations. Revenue for the app was minimal, peaking at $11 in mid-June.

Red Movilidad, from Directorio de Transporte Público Metropolitano, maintained a steady download rate, ranging from 1.9K to 2.7K. The app’s active user base showed a consistent increase, peaking at around 26.3K in mid-June.

SpTH by Aena Aeropuertos S.A. had the lowest download numbers among the top five, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 296 and 699. The app’s active users saw a gradual increase from 377 to 825 by the end of May, before declining slightly to around 628 by the end of June.
