In the second quarter of 2022, the top five navigation apps on iOS in Bulgaria exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a solid presence with weekly downloads peaking at 6K in early April and then fluctuating around 3K to 5K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, starting at 283K in late March and reaching over 310K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, increasing from 1.5K in late March to 3.5K towards the end of April, before stabilizing around 1.8K to 2.4K in June. Active users also grew consistently, beginning at 94.5K and culminating at 115.5K by the end of the quarter.

Moovit: All Transit Options saw a steady download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 754 and 1.2K. Revenue for Moovit was minimal but showed slight increments in June, peaking at $6 in the last week. Active users remained stable, growing from 16.3K to around 18.7K during the quarter.

Shell: Fuel & Rewards showed moderate download activity, starting at 689 in late March and peaking at 824 by the end of June. The app's active users increased from 3.5K to 3.7K over the same period.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps had consistent weekly downloads, hovering around 200 to 287. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $338 in mid-April and maintained a steady flow, averaging around $200 for the rest of the quarter. Active users also showed a gradual increase, starting at 400 and reaching 536 by late June.
