During the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 iOS navigation apps in Africa demonstrated varied performance across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here's a detailed look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a consistent number of weekly downloads, peaking at 50K in mid-April. Throughout the quarter, weekly active users ranged from 2.4M to 2.7M, with a notable increase towards the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained steady download numbers, reaching close to 4.8K in the final week of June. Active users also showed a gradual upward trend, increasing from around 247K at the start of the quarter to 266K by the end.

The Bolt Driver App had relatively stable weekly downloads, fluctuating between 1.8K and 2.3K. Active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, starting at approximately 20K and ending at 22K.
