Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Bahrain: Q2 2022 Performance

Throughout the second quarter of 2022, the top insurance applications on the Android platform in Bahrain exhibited varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and revenue for the leading apps in this category.

Smart Takaful from Takaful International Co. BSC saw fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at 170 downloads at the end of March, the app experienced a dip to 109 downloads in mid-April, then rebounded to 199 downloads by the end of April. The trend continued with small variations, peaking at 207 downloads in the last week of June.

Solidarity by Solidarity Bahrain B.S.C had a more varied download pattern. Starting with 78 downloads in late March, the app saw a low of 44 downloads in early April but surged to 206 downloads in the final week of June. This indicates a significant increase in user interest towards the end of the quarter.

GIG-Kuwait from Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Company displayed a moderate performance in weekly downloads. Beginning the quarter with 103 downloads, the app saw a decrease to 34 downloads in early April, then fluctuated between 41 and 63 downloads towards the end of June.

GIG GO showed a somewhat stable download trend. The app started with 69 downloads at the end of March, reached a peak of 87 downloads in late April, and ended the quarter with 44 downloads.

GlobeMed Fit from GlobeMed saw an increase in downloads over the quarter. Starting with 42 downloads in late March, the app had a significant rise to 162 downloads by the end of June. Notably, there was a peak of 102 downloads in mid-May.
