Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Ukraine: Q2 2022 Performance

The second quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of finance apps on the Android platform in Ukraine. Here, we delve into the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue of the top 5 finance apps: Privat24, Old Ощад 24/7, monobank: перший цифровий банк, Ощад, and Google Wallet.

Privat24 from JSC CB PrivatBank exhibited strong weekly downloads throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 107.6K in the final week of March. The downloads showed a gradual decline, bottoming out at around 45K in early June before rebounding to 59.8K by the end of June. Active users for Privat24 showed a steady increase from 2.8M at the beginning of the quarter to over 3.1M by the end of June.

Old Ощад 24/7 by ОЩАДБАНК saw its downloads decrease from 84.2K at the start of the quarter to around 22K by the end of June. Despite this decline in downloads, the app's active users increased from approximately 540.9K to 568.8K over the same period.

monobank: перший цифровий банк from Universal Bank | Monobank experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at 72.1K at the end of March and ending the quarter at 29.6K. The active user base for monobank showed growth, rising from 1.8M to just under 2M by the end of June.

Ощад, also from ОЩАДБАНК, recorded an upward trend in downloads, starting at 27.5K and peaking at 42.5K by mid-June, before slightly decreasing to 34.2K at the end of the quarter. The active users for Ощад increased from 97.5K to 172.5K over the same period.

Google Wallet by Google LLC saw its downloads decrease from 43.1K to 24.3K throughout the quarter. However, the active users for Google Wallet increased from 814.6K to nearly 1.14M by the end of June.
