Top 5 Finance Apps on Android in Spain Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the top finance applications on the Android platform in Spain showcased varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at these trends.

Waylet. Pagos con el móvil showed a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting from about 95K at the end of March to approximately 28K by the end of June. The app's active user base also saw a decline, from around 266K in late March to about 227K in mid-May, before stabilizing and ending the quarter with approximately 251K active users.

CaixaBank Sign - Digital sign experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at approximately 52K in late March and ending at around 41K in late June. Despite the fluctuations, the active user base showed an overall increase, starting at around 657K and peaking at approximately 755K in the last week of June.

TaxDown Declaración Renta 2023 saw a notable spike in downloads in early April, reaching around 67K, but this number steadily declined to about 4.2K by the end of June. Correspondingly, active users peaked at around 73K in mid-April before gradually decreasing to approximately 11.7K by the end of the quarter.

CaixaBankNow maintained a relatively stable download trend, with numbers hovering around 30K throughout the quarter. The active user base displayed a slight increase, starting from approximately 3.5M at the end of March and reaching around 3.6M by the end of June.

Finally, PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage demonstrated consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating between 20K and 25K. The active user base remained stable, starting at about 987K and ending the quarter at around 1M.
