The second quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the finance app sector on the Android platform in Egypt. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top five finance applications, as tracked by Sensor Tower.

Lucky ONE had a notable quarter with weekly downloads starting at approximately 59K and peaking at around 122K in early May. By the end of June, downloads stabilized at about 103K. The app's weekly active users grew steadily from 223K at the end of March to over 321K by the end of June.

InstaPay Egypt also showed strong performance, with weekly downloads peaking at around 84K in late April before gradually decreasing to 30K by the end of June. Active users for InstaPay Egypt increased from nearly 49K at the end of March to approximately 150K by the end of June, indicating a steady rise in user engagement.

Yalla Super App يلّا سوبر آب experienced varied download trends, beginning with around 29K weekly downloads in late March, peaking at roughly 89K in late June. The app's active users also saw significant growth, starting at about 85K at the end of March and reaching over 173K by the end of June.

EasyCredit：finance security had fluctuating download numbers, with a high of about 108K in early May and a low of around 3K in mid-June. Weekly active users reflected a similar trend, peaking at approximately 175K in early May before settling at around 98K by the end of June.

Halan: Lending, BNPL, Payments saw steady download numbers, starting at around 30K in late March and maintaining an average of 28K to 30K throughout the quarter. The app's active user base started at about 86K and remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with around 82K active users.
