In the second quarter of 2022, the top five finance applications on the Android platform in Brazil showed notable trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps performed:

CAIXA Tem experienced a variable download trend, peaking at nearly 1M downloads in late March and then stabilizing around 450K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a peak of over 9M in late May, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 7.2M by the end of June.

Nubank: conta, cartão e mais maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 450K and 620K weekly downloads. Active users consistently hovered around 29M to 31M, with a peak of 31.3M in early June.

FGTS saw its weekly downloads peak at 676K in mid-April, then gradually decreased to around 268K by the end of June. Active users peaked at 6.6M in mid-April and then declined to about 3.9M by the end of June.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix had a fairly stable download rate, ranging from 304K to 403K. Active users peaked at 13.9M in early May and fluctuated around 12.6M to 13.3M for the rest of the quarter.

Bitz: Conta Digital showed a consistent download trend, with weekly downloads ranging from 227K to 413K. Active users grew steadily, peaking at 1.8M in late May and holding around 1.7M by the end of June.
