During the second quarter of 2022, the top education apps on the Android platform in Bahrain exhibited varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and revenue.

UOB App from Information Technology Center saw a dramatic fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting with just a handful of downloads, the app experienced a significant spike, peaking at around 3.5K downloads in the week of June 6. Following this peak, the downloads tapered off to more modest numbers towards the end of the quarter.

Duolingo: Language Lessons maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers typically ranging between 295 and 434 downloads per week. Revenue for the app showed some fluctuations, peaking at $156 during the week of April 11 and then stabilizing around $85 to $113 towards the end of the quarter.

Student Exam Results experienced a substantial increase in weekly downloads, starting from a modest 23 downloads at the beginning of the quarter and reaching a peak of about 2.8K in the week of June 20. This app did not generate any reported revenue during this period.

Translate Messages Chat also saw a varied download trend. The app's downloads surged mid-quarter, reaching a high of approximately 734 in the week of June 6, before settling around 661 downloads by the end of the quarter.

Lamsa - Kids Learning App had a relatively stable download rate early in the quarter, with numbers ranging between 193 and 534. However, the download numbers dipped significantly in June, dropping to around 47-50 downloads per week. Revenue for Lamsa showed a slight upward trend, with a notable peak of $46 in the week of June 6 and ending the quarter at around $32.
