In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 utilities applications in Portugal showed varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared:

Google saw a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting from 6.9K in late December 2021 and decreasing to around 4.5K by the end of March 2022. Despite this, the app maintained a robust number of weekly active users, fluctuating around 2.7M throughout the quarter.

Google Chrome experienced a similar trend in downloads, with numbers dropping from 5K at the start of the quarter to approximately 3.7K by the end. Weekly active users for Google Chrome hovered around 5.5M, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Segurança Social demonstrated a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 9.7K in the week of February 21. The downloads then tapered off, ending the quarter at around 1.7K.

id.gov.pt had a significant spike in downloads, particularly in the week of January 31, reaching 27.9K. Following this peak, the weekly downloads stabilized around 6.8K by the end of March. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users, peaking at approximately 49.9K at the end of January before stabilizing around 34K.
