The first quarter of 2022 saw notable performance trends among the top 5 utilities applications in Oceania. According to Sensor Tower data, here are the highlights for Google Chrome, Google, Service NSW, My Telstra, and Service Victoria.

Google Chrome experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 36.7K in mid-March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 9.6M mark throughout the quarter.

Google saw weekly downloads hover between 21K and 25K, with a slight uptick towards the end of March. Active user numbers showed minor fluctuations, averaging around 5.4M during the quarter.

Service NSW had a significant drop in downloads from 68.8K at the end of December to around 15.8K by the end of March. Active users also saw a sharp decline from approximately 1.3M to 506K over the same period.

My Telstra demonstrated consistent growth in weekly downloads, reaching nearly 30K by the end of March. Active users showed a steady increase, peaking at 187K in mid-March.

Service Victoria maintained weekly downloads in the range of 16K to 29K, with a slight dip in late February. Active user numbers declined from 1.4M to around 874K by the end of March.
