Top 5 Utilities Apps Performance in Czech Republic Q1 2022

The first quarter of 2022 saw varied performance metrics for the top utilities applications in the Czech Republic. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Google experienced a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from 6K in late December 2021 and decreasing to around 3.5K by mid-March. However, there was a noticeable spike to 4.6K in the last week of March. Active users also showed a gradual increase, climbing from 2.55M at the start of the year to approximately 2.61M by the end of March.

Google Chrome had a similar download trend, beginning at 4.7K at the end of December and dropping to around 3K in February. The downloads then fluctuated, ending at 3.5K in late March. Active users gradually increased from 4.67M to nearly 4.8M over the quarter.

Seznam.cz showed a notable fluctuation in downloads, starting at 9.2K and dipping to around 4.8K in mid-February before recovering to 6.1K by the end of March. Weekly revenue for Seznam.cz varied throughout the quarter, peaking at $229 twice in February and then ending at $155 in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 170K mark with a slight increase towards the end of March.

Mobilní klíč eGovernmentu had a more stable download trend, with initial downloads at 5.4K rising to a peak of 6.7K in early January before stabilizing around 4K to 4.7K towards the end of the quarter. Active users saw a gradual increase from 31.5K to 36.2K by the end of March.

QR Code Reader ® experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 2.4K in late December and dropping to around 1K by the end of March. Revenue for this app showed a declining trend as well, peaking at $1.3K in mid-January and then decreasing to $461 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at 1.7K and ending at approximately 1K.
