Top 5 Travel Apps in Norway Q1 2022: A Unified Platform Analysis

In the first quarter of 2022, the top travel apps in Norway demonstrated varying performance trends across downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Ruter – Mobility in Oslo/Viken showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 2.2K at the end of December 2021 and peaking at approximately 11.3K in mid-March. The app's weekly active users also saw a steady rise, growing from 29.4K to 43.4K by the end of the quarter.

EasyPark - Parking made easy maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers fluctuating between 3.7K and 5.3K. The weekly active users for EasyPark remained stable, hovering around 37K to 38K.

Vy experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 3.4K in late December and reaching up to 5.4K in February. Its weekly active users also showed growth, rising from 11.2K to 12.6K over the quarter.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw a decline in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter at 8.7K and dropping to around 1.6K by the end of March. The weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 10.3K to 4.8K.

Google Earth had a relatively stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, ranging from 2K to 4.8K. The app's weekly active users showed slight fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 21K throughout the quarter.
