During the first quarter of 2022, Hungary's top travel apps experienced various trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The following insights are based on data from Sensor Tower and provide a detailed look into the performance of these apps.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 3.5K at the end of December 2021 and reaching over 5K by the end of March 2022. The app maintained a consistent level of weekly active users, fluctuating around the 70K mark throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced significant fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads spiked to over 29K in the week of February 21, then gradually declined to about 3.2K by the end of March. Revenue peaked at approximately $2.7K in the week of March 7, followed by a drop to around $1.4K by the end of the month. Active users mirrored this trend, reaching a high of nearly 29K in late February before settling at around 14.4K at the end of March.

BudapestGO showed a notable increase in downloads, particularly in February when downloads jumped to over 8.7K in the week of February 14. Active users also saw an increase, peaking at over 92K in mid-February and stabilizing around 78K by the end of March.

MÁV demonstrated a stable performance with weekly downloads hovering around 1.6K throughout the quarter. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly around the 8.2K mark, with a minor peak of 8.9K in mid-March.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained a steady trend in weekly downloads, starting at about 7.8K at the end of December and ending the quarter with approximately 3.1K downloads. Active users followed a similar pattern, with numbers ranging from 27.5K to 34K over the quarter.
