Expo 2020 Dubai showed a remarkable increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 5.8K in early January and peaking at approximately 40.2K in the week of March 21. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, rising from about 63.8K in early January to just over 110K by the third week of March.
Careem – rides, food & more experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Beginning at roughly 11.2K in January, downloads climbed to around 18.7K by mid-March. Active users also showed an increase, growing from approximately 130K at the start of the quarter to about 136.6K by the end of March.
