The first quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the travel app sector in the United States. Here’s a look at the performance of the top 5 travel applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.

My Disney Experience showed a consistent performance in revenue, starting the quarter at around $113K and ending at approximately $114K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at nearly 104K in early March. Active users saw a steady increase, reaching over 332K by early March before stabilizing around 310K by the end of the quarter.

Planes Live - Flight Tracker experienced varied revenue trends, beginning at $52K and dropping to around $44K by the end of March. Downloads saw a significant spike in the week of February 21, reaching nearly 17K. Active users also peaked in the same week at around 46K but declined to approximately 23K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker had an impressive revenue increase, starting at $44K and peaking at $88K mid-March. Downloads surged in the week of February 21, hitting 136K, and active users mirrored this trend, peaking at around 291K. By the end of March, active users settled at approximately 190K.

Disneyland® saw a steady decline in revenue from $50K to around $30K throughout the quarter. Downloads, however, showed an upward trend, peaking at 68K in early March. Active users increased from approximately 152K to around 159K during the same period.

Finally, RV LIFE - RV GPS & Campgrounds showed a positive revenue trend, starting at $16K and reaching nearly $27K by the end of the quarter. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase peaking at around 5.4K in late March. Active users also showed stability, with a small peak at around 11.4K in mid-February.
