In the first quarter of 2022, Australia's top 5 shopping apps demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps performed.
SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 22K and peaking at approximately 34K by the end of March. Its weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, increasing from 408K at the start of the quarter to about 533K by the end.
Shop: All your favorite brands had a more fluctuating performance in terms of downloads, beginning with 29K and ending the quarter at around 26K. The app’s weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at 318K and decreasing to about 269K by the end of March.
My 7-Eleven experienced significant spikes in weekly downloads, especially in early March, where downloads surged to around 64K. Active users also mirrored this trend, peaking at approximately 295K in early March before stabilizing at around 191K by the end of the quarter.
