Top 5 Navigation Apps in Turkey Q1 2022

The first quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top five navigation apps in Turkey. Here's a closer look at how each app performed in terms of downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence in Turkey. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 80K in the week of March 21. The app also saw a notable increase in weekly active users, reaching approximately 6.7M in the same week.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced steady growth in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads were stable, hovering around 38K for most of the quarter and peaking at 40.8K in the week of March 21. Active users also saw an upward trend, reaching over 511K by the end of the quarter.

Yandex Navi – navigation, maps had modest performance in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads ranged from around 19.7K to 30.1K, with a peak in the week of March 21. Active users showed a slight decline, falling from 1.35M at the end of January to 1.20M by the end of March.

Mobiett saw consistent download numbers, ranging from about 15.1K to 18.2K. The app's active user base grew steadily, peaking at approximately 519K in the week of February 28.

TKGM Parsel Sorgu also showed a stable performance. Weekly downloads were consistent, peaking at around 26.8K in mid-February. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to around 159K in early February.
