In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation apps in the Netherlands demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

TomTom GO Navigation experienced a robust increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $8.8K at the end of December 2021 and peaking at around $15.8K by the end of March 2022. Weekly downloads showed fluctuations, with a notable dip in mid-January to about 1.4K, and a rebound to approximately 2.4K in the last week of March. Weekly active users also saw a decline from 11.9K at the beginning of the quarter to about 8.6K in early March, before recovering to around 10.9K by the end of the quarter.

Geocaching® had variable weekly revenue, starting at around $17.6K and experiencing a low of approximately $7K in early February, before stabilizing around $11.2K to $11.9K towards the end of March. Weekly downloads decreased from 4.5K at the start of the quarter to about 1.8K by the end. Active users fluctuated, starting at 8.9K, dropping to 6.7K in early January, and then rising to about 10K in mid-March.

Flitsmeister maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, averaging around 13K to 15K throughout the quarter. Revenue showed an upward trend, beginning at approximately $9K and peaking at around $11.2K in late February. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 180K to 190K throughout the quarter.

Routiq, Outdoor routes saw a consistent weekly revenue pattern, starting at roughly $4K and ending at a similar level, with minor fluctuations in between. Downloads were steady, ranging from about 1.6K to 2.3K, while active users showed a slight increase from 5.2K at the beginning of the quarter to about 4.5K by the end.

Wikiloc Outdoor Navigation GPS had a mixed performance in terms of revenue, starting at approximately $4K and experiencing a dip to around $2.5K in late March. Downloads varied slightly, from about 1K to 1.4K. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 4.2K and 4.8K throughout the quarter.
