Top Finance Apps Performance in Portugal for Q1 2022

The first quarter of 2022 saw notable performance trends among the top five finance applications in Portugal, according to Sensor Tower data.

MB WAY experienced a stable user base throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 12K and 18K, with a peak of approximately 17.7K in the final week of March. Active users remained consistently high, starting from 332K at the beginning of January and increasing to nearly 374K by the end of March.

Santander Portugal showed significant growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads surged from around 9.4K at the end of December to a peak of 28.7K in the last week of March. Similarly, active users increased from 129K to over 217K during the same period.

e-fatura saw a substantial increase in downloads, particularly in the week of February 21, when downloads spiked to approximately 27.7K. Active users also grew, starting from 49K at the end of December and reaching a high of 70K in mid-February before stabilizing around 55K by the end of March.

Verse - Enjoy your money maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads ranging between 6.4K and 11.6K. Active users showed a slight upward trend, starting from 36.5K at the end of December and reaching around 44K by the end of March.

Crypto.com - Buy Bitcoin, ETH had relatively consistent download numbers, peaking at approximately 10.3K in the last week of December and then stabilizing around 6.3K by the end of March. Active users fluctuated slightly, with numbers ranging from 41.3K to 51.1K throughout the quarter.
