In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 finance applications in Germany showcased varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into trends for PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage, VR SecureGo plus, S-pushTAN für iPhone und iPad, Sparkasse Ihre mobile Filiale, and Taxfix: Tax return for Germany.

PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from around 94K to 129K. The app saw a slight dip in mid-February but rebounded towards the end of March with downloads peaking at approximately 118K. Active users displayed a stable trend, starting at about 4.1M and peaking at nearly 4.5M by the end of March.

VR SecureGo plus experienced a notable decline in weekly downloads from approximately 178K at the start of the quarter to around 82K by the end of March. Despite this, active users showed a steady increase, beginning at about 582K and reaching around 643K by the end of the quarter.
