In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 auto applications in Ghana showed varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Speed Camera Radar: AntiPolice by VidaTech saw a peak in weekly downloads at 3.2K in the first week of January, followed by a gradual decline, closing the quarter with 713 downloads in the last week of March. The app's weekly active users peaked at around 4.8K in early January and remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with about 3.8K active users. Revenue for this app was minimal, reaching up to $2 in the week of January 24.

RTO Vehicle Information from Vehicleinfo showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 502 in late December and peaking at 972 in early February. Active users followed a similar trend, with numbers rising from 1.2K in late December to 2.1K by early March.

The IAA Buyer Salvage Auctions app by Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. displayed steady weekly downloads, hovering around the 200-300 range throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around 600-700.

Autowini from Autowini.com experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads, reaching 830 in mid-January. However, this was followed by a sharp decline, stabilizing around 100 downloads per week in March. Active users also reflected this trend, peaking at 279 in mid-January and dropping to 42 by the end of March.

Lastly, Auctionwini, also by Autowini.com, showed a dramatic increase in weekly downloads in the latter part of the quarter. Downloads surged from 13 in late December to 921 by the end of March.
