Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 apparel applications in Egypt showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared.

SHEIN - Shopping Online demonstrated a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 19.4K at the end of December 2021 and peaking at 39K in mid-March. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users rising from 263K to a peak of 385.7K before slightly dropping to 333.8K by the end of March.

Starting from around 9K at the end of December, the downloads spiked to 31.4K by the end of February and settled at approximately 12.2K towards the end of March. Town Team experienced a steady yet moderate performance in weekly downloads, starting from 8K at the end of December and stabilizing around 7.4K by the end of March. The weekly active users remained relatively consistent, fluctuating slightly around 15.7K throughout the quarter.

2segypt had a decline in weekly downloads from 6.9K at the end of December to approximately 1.6K by the end of March. Similarly, active users dropped from around 10.5K to 6.6K over the same period, indicating a downward trend in user engagement.

ZARA showed a slight decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 6.5K in late December and ending at about 4.9K by the end of March. The weekly active users for ZARA remained stable throughout the quarter, averaging around 58K to 60K.
