In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 shopping apps on iOS in Europe showcased varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the trends observed for each app.

SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 234K in late December and reaching a peak of around 339K in mid-February. Active users also showed a positive trend, starting at about 8.1M and peaking at nearly 9.9M by the end of February.

AliExpress - Shopping App experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 201K in late December and dropping to approximately 133K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from about 6.5M to 5.5M over the quarter.

Lidl Plus maintained a steady performance with weekly downloads fluctuating between 117K and 147K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at about 2.5M and reaching approximately 2.7M by the end of March.

Amazon saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 161K in late December and dropping to around 122K by the end of March. However, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 5.2M mark throughout the quarter.

H&M - we love fashion experienced a decline in both weekly downloads and active users. Downloads started at about 140K in late December and fell to around 108K by the end of March. Active users also decreased, starting at approximately 3M and dropping to about 2.6M.
