Top 5 Shopping Apps on iOS in Belgium: Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 shopping apps on the iOS platform in Belgium showcased varying performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 11K in mid-March. The app started the quarter with approximately 4.8K downloads and saw a steady rise, reaching over 10K by the end of March. Weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, starting from 161K at the beginning of the quarter and reaching nearly 197K by the end of March.

Zalando – Online fashion had a more modest performance in terms of weekly downloads, which hovered around 5K for most of the quarter. The app's downloads peaked in the first week of January at nearly 6.9K. As for active users, the app saw a decline from 153K in early January to about 128K by the end of March.

Xtra saw a significant spike in downloads in March, reaching a high of 11K in the second week. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, with early weeks averaging around 2K. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at over 31K in mid-March before settling at approximately 23K by the end of the quarter.

Amazon maintained a relatively steady download rate, starting at about 5.2K in late December and ending the quarter at around 3.6K. Active users showed a slight increase, beginning the quarter with 145K and ending with approximately 153K.

HEMA saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at 8.1K in early February and gradually declining to around 4.2K by the end of March. Active users for HEMA increased from 212 in late December to over 10K by the end of March.
