Top 5 iOS News Apps in Lebanon Q1 2022

In Q1 2022, Lebanon's top iOS news apps exhibited diverse trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

L'Orient-Le Jour (OLJ) experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at about $300 in the weeks of January 10 and March 14. Weekly downloads saw a notable spike at the beginning of January, reaching around 109, but gradually decreased, hovering between 11 and 22 towards the end of the quarter.

Bloomberg: Business News Daily showed a strong performance in weekly revenue, with a peak of approximately $443 in the week of February 28. Weekly downloads were highest in early March, hitting around 80, while weekly active users remained fairly stable, ranging from 326 to 411 over the quarter.

The Wall Street Journal. had a consistent weekly revenue trend, peaking at $233 during the week of February 7. Weekly downloads saw a significant increase in the same week, reaching about 30, while weekly active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at around 99.

Journal Le Monde experienced a varied revenue performance, peaking at around $214 in the week of January 10 and closing the quarter with about $206. However, the app had minimal weekly downloads and active users, with only a few spikes in both metrics.

L'ancienne app Paris Match maintained a steady weekly revenue, with peaks of around $152 in late February and $210 in mid-March. Weekly downloads were negligible throughout the quarter, while active user data was not available.
