In the first quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five navigation applications on iOS in Mexico showed varied trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. Here's a closer look at how each app performed based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence, with weekly downloads consistently exceeding 50K. The app saw a peak in downloads at approximately 66K in the last week of March. Active users also showed a steady increase, starting at around 3.5M in early January and reaching nearly 3.8M by the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 15.5K and ending with around 13.7K. Despite the variation, weekly active users increased from 628K at the start of the quarter to approximately 684K by the end of March.

Moovit: All Transit Options saw a moderate increase in downloads, starting at 2.4K in late December and peaking at 4.7K in the last week of March. Active users also trended upwards, beginning the quarter with around 68K and reaching approximately 133K by the end of March.

Parental GPS Phone Tracker displayed varying trends in weekly downloads, which peaked at around 2.8K in late January but dropped significantly to just 128 in mid-March. The app's weekly revenue showed notable fluctuations, peaking at about $3.7K in mid-February before declining to around $724 in mid-March.

RealLoc: Find Friends & Family experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 488 and reaching up to 1.4K by the end of March. Active users also saw consistent growth, starting at around 6K and reaching approximately 7.7K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly revenue saw a peak of around $1.6K in the last week of March.
