In the first quarter of 2022, the iOS navigation app market in Latin America showcased interesting trends across the top 5 applications. Here's a detailed breakdown of their performance metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, averaging around 210K with a peak of 225K in the week of February 21. Active users increased steadily, starting at approximately 14.2M and reaching about 15.2M by the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a decline in weekly downloads early in the quarter, dropping from 118K to around 78K by February. However, downloads rebounded to 87K by the end of February. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at approximately 6.3M, dipping to 5.6M, and then recovering to about 6M by the end of March.

Moovit: All Transit Options showed robust growth in weekly downloads, rising from 21.8K to a peak of 54.3K in early March. Active users also saw significant growth, starting at approximately 509K and peaking at about 949K by the end of the quarter.

Cittamobi: Transporte Coletivo had a moderate increase in weekly downloads, growing from 4K to around 8.4K by early March. Active users increased from 65K to about 95K over the same period.
