In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation applications on iOS in Brazil showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at these metrics.

Google Maps experienced consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating around 86K to 101K. The highest number of downloads was recorded in the week of February 21, reaching approximately 101K. Active users for Google Maps showed an upward trend, peaking at about 5.6M in the week of February 28.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw weekly downloads ranging from approximately 35K to 69K. The highest downloads occurred in the week of December 27 with about 69K. Active users exhibited a steady increase, peaking at around 3.7M in the week of February 28.

Moovit: All Transit Options showed a rise in weekly downloads, starting from about 12K and reaching up to 29K by early March. Active users for Moovit increased significantly, from around 318K at the start of the quarter to about 613K by the end of March.

Cittamobi: Transporte Coletivo had a relatively stable download rate, with numbers ranging from approximately 4K to 8K. The peak downloads were observed in the week of March 7, at about 8.3K. The active users also showed a positive trend, peaking at approximately 95K in late March.
