In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on the iOS platform in Spain demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Ahora Tu! Salud y Bienestar saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 8.8K at the end of January. Despite this peak, downloads showed a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling around 2.2K by the final week of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, rising from 11K in late December to a high of 18.5K by the end of January, before gradually decreasing to 15.4K by the end of March.

Mi Sanitas maintained steady weekly downloads throughout the quarter, with figures ranging between 950 and 2.3K. Active users saw a slight dip mid-quarter, dropping from 13.6K at the start of January to around 11.2K in late March, but ended the quarter on a high note with 13.2K active users.

MutuaMás-Muévete, ahorra y más experienced consistent weekly downloads, generally fluctuating between 1.2K and 1.9K. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, starting at 6.6K in late December and ending at 6.6K in late March, with minor variations in between.

Línea Directa saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting from 1.2K in late December and peaking at 1.9K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from 3.1K to 3.8K over the quarter.

MAPFRE Seguros exhibited a steady download rate with slight fluctuations, ranging between 880 and 1.8K. The app's active users showed a strong presence, starting at 21.4K in late December, dipping slightly mid-quarter, and then rebounding to 22.2K by the end of March.
