In the first quarter of 2022, the top five finance apps on iOS in Sweden displayed diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Below is a detailed look at their performance.

Swish payments from Getswish AB maintained a stable weekly download trend, starting the quarter with around 15.6K downloads and peaking at 17.1K in early January. Downloads dipped to approximately 10K by mid-February but rebounded to 12.3K by the end of March. Weekly active users for the app were consistently high, starting at 822.7K and peaking at 886.2K in late March.

Skatteverket saw a significant surge in weekly downloads, beginning at 900 and skyrocketing to 40.2K by mid-March. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 20.1K and reaching 64.1K in mid-March before stabilizing at around 57K by the end of the quarter.

Swedbank private experienced steady weekly downloads, hovering around 5K to 6.2K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a consistent increase, starting at 283.5K and peaking at 307.5K in late March.

Avanza from Avanza Bank AB had a fluctuating download trend, starting at 5.9K and experiencing a low of 2.7K by mid-March, before slightly recovering to 3K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw a gradual decline from 214.1K at the beginning of the quarter to 192.2K by the end.

PayPal - Send, Shop, Manage maintained a steady download rate, starting at 3.6K and ending the quarter at 3.6K as well. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 40.2K to 42.3K throughout the quarter.
