During the first quarter of 2022, the top five finance apps on the iOS platform in Argentina demonstrated diverse trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Mercado Pago: cuenta digital experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 8.1K at the end of December 2021 and peaking at around 18.5K in the week of March 7. Active users for the app also showed a steady rise, growing from 1.29M at the start of the quarter to about 1.41M by the end of March.

BNA+ saw fluctuating download numbers, beginning at around 6.1K in late December and ending the quarter with approximately 4.8K downloads per week. Active users for BNA+ remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 43.5K to around 49.8K over the quarter.

Lemon Cash: tu wallet crypto showed significant spikes in weekly downloads, particularly in the weeks of February 14 and February 28, with approximately 10.3K and 13.2K downloads, respectively. The app maintained a varied download trend throughout the quarter.

Cuenta DNI exhibited a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting from around 2.5K in late December and reaching approximately 4.2K by March 21. Active users also increased steadily from about 71.7K to 89.3K during the same period.

MODO had a more stable download trend, with weekly downloads hovering around 2.1K to 3.8K throughout the quarter. The number of active users for MODO showed a gradual rise from approximately 22.2K to 24.6K by the end of March.
