Top 5 Shopping Apps on Android in France: Q1 2022 Performance

During the first quarter of 2022, the top shopping apps on the Android platform in France demonstrated notable trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the performance metrics for Lidl Plus, SHEIN-Shopping Online, AliExpress - Shopping App, Amazon Shopping, and Zalando – online fashion store.

Lidl Plus experienced a relatively high number of weekly downloads, peaking at around 80K in the last week of January. Despite fluctuations, the app maintained a strong presence with downloads hovering between 54K and 80K throughout the quarter. The weekly active users showed a positive trend, increasing from approximately 384K at the start of the quarter to about 430K by the end of March.

SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 25K at the end of December and reaching nearly 40K by the end of March. The weekly active users also demonstrated consistent growth, moving from around 1.05M to about 1.25M over the quarter.

AliExpress - Shopping App had a varied download performance, with a peak of around 52K in late December, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 23K by the end of March. However, its weekly active users remained robust, fluctuating between 1.24M and 1.47M throughout the quarter.

Amazon Shopping maintained a consistent number of downloads, averaging around 27K to 34K per week. The app's weekly active users showed a slight decline from approximately 2.84M at the end of December to about 2.45M by the end of March.

Zalando – online fashion store experienced an upward trend in downloads, starting at around 12K at the end of December and peaking at approximately 31K by the end of March. The weekly active users for the app also saw a positive trend, increasing from around 421K to about 485K over the quarter.
