Top 5 Insurance Apps on Android in Qatar: Q1 2022

Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance apps on the Android platform in Qatar demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads.

QLM saw a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting at 838 in the first week of January and dropping to 145 by the end of March. The app from Q Life & Medical Insurance Company experienced its lowest point in the week of February 21, with just 139 downloads.

DIG (old version) from Doha Insurance Group had a more stable download trend, with a notable peak of 300 downloads in the week of February 28. The downloads fluctuated slightly but remained relatively steady, ending the quarter with 173 downloads in the last week of March.

AlKhaleej Takaful Insurance also showed some fluctuations. The app started the quarter with 115 downloads and reached its highest point of 189 downloads in the week of February 14. By the end of March, the downloads slightly decreased to 106.

Alkoot Global Care had a varied performance, beginning with 103 downloads and peaking at 137 downloads in the first week of January. The app saw another peak in the week of February 28 with 127 downloads and concluded the quarter with 94 downloads in the last week of March.

QIIC ISLAMIA from Qatar Islamic Insurance Company showed a gradual increase in downloads. Starting with 56 downloads in the last week of December, the app reached its highest number of downloads at 110 in the week of February 28, and ended the quarter with 75 downloads.
